This tour can work for a 4-10 day itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive in Edinburgh – transfer from airport – three hour walking tour of Edinburgh Old Town with Peter Berry – stay in Edinburgh
Day 2 – Day free to explore Edinburgh for instance to visit the castle, walk up Arthurs Seat – stay in Edinburgh
Day 3 – Walk a part of the Fife Coastline from Anstruther to Crail (7.1 miles) – visit to St Andrews – head over the River Tay
Day 4 – Distillery Tour visit at Aberfeldy/Pitlochry – local delicious lunch – time to explore Pitlochry
Day 5 – Walk up Schiehallion (Celtic Mountain of the Fairies) – visit Fortingall and the oldest tree in Europe – Glen Lyon
Day 6 – Head via the Sma Glen to Doune Castle for a visit to the castle famous from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Outlander – through the Trossachs.
Day 7 – A walk at Ben A’an – drive the Duke’s Pass to Aberfoyle – afternoon visit to Loch Lomond-side at Inversnaid (walk to Rob Roy’s Cave)
Day 8 – Head to Glen Coe to explore the Lost Valley or to the Devil’s Staircase to Kinlochleven – great photography opportunities and walking options for those whose fitness has peaked and they are looking for further challenges.
Day 9 – Travel down to see Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, back to Edinburgh for early evening
Day 10 – Fly home from Edinburgh/Glasgow
